Peace Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, let me sow pardon.

Where there is friction, let me sow union.

Where there is error, let me sow truth.

Where there is doubt, let me sow faith.

Where there is despair, let me sow hope.

Where there is darkness, let me sow light.

Where there is sadness, let me sow joy.

Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek, to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive. It is pardoning that we are pardoned. It is dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Message from Rev. Fr. Vicar

A new gateway to our parish

“

It is with immense joy and enthusiasm that I announce the launching of a Website for our Parish, St. Francis Assisi Church, Marangattupilly. Internet has spread its wings over the globe. Anything that is outside its purview has become practically irrelevant and easily ignored. This has prompted us to open up a new gateway to our parish through internet.

The legacy of our Parish covers a long period starting in 1828. This has to be cherished and preserved for the present and coming generations. From the very beginning, the parish has played a prominent role in the social as well as the spiritual life of this region. In the present scenario, it is inevitable to maintain our communion and fellowship by means of a global link accessible to the members and well-wishers of our parish, home and abroad.

With the launching of this Website, we have successfully connected ourselves with the entire humanity. I heartfully congratulate and thank all of you who have become part of this pathbreaking endeavour. I am sure this will be a great stride in our journey towards the eternal truth, Almighty God.

Join us in prayer
