Message from Rev. Fr. Vicar

It is with immense joy and enthusiasm that I announce the launching of a Website for our Parish, St. Francis Assisi Church, Marangattupilly. Internet has spread its wings over the globe. Anything that is outside its purview has become practically irrelevant and easily ignored. This has prompted us to open up a new gateway to our parish through internet. The legacy of our Parish covers a long period starting in 1828. This has to be cherished and preserved for the present and coming generations. From the very beginning, the parish has played a prominent role in the social as well as the spiritual life of this region. In the present scenario, it is inevitable to maintain our communion and fellowship by means of a global link accessible to the members and well-wishers of our parish, home and abroad. With the launching of this Website, we have successfully connected ourselves with the entire humanity. I heartfully congratulate and thank all of you who have become part of this pathbreaking endeavour. I am sure this will be a great stride in our journey towards the eternal truth, Almighty God.

    According to the liturgy of Syro Malabar Church, Ash-Monday will be on 12/02/2024. Lent of fifty days starts on that day. Ash Monday is a fasting day for all members of Syro Malabar Christians.

    Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place every Thursday following Holy Mass at 6.00 AM

    The Way of the Cross will be observed every Friday during Lent following Holy Mass at 6.00 a.m. at St. Francis Assisi Church, Marangattupilly
